Smokey

The runt of the litter, the only one who still fits comfortably in my hand.  He's nursing well.  Cinco hasn't rejected him and his siblings aren't pushing him aside, but there are some serious health concerns.  Our long-time vet has diagnosed a severe hernia, which will require surgery if the little guy can make it past weaning, but doesn't think he's suffering.  There may be other birth defects.  This kitten is a fighter, though, so the consensus is to give him every chance we can.
