El Coronel (Hunt-McAllister, 1984)
One of Gene's last selections, which I named in honor of Col. Gus Seligmann, who was instrumental in saving many of Gene's selected seedlings.
A fully fertile halfbred, from Esther, the Queen X (Imam Salah x Beisan Aga). Its signal barely shows up against that dark ground, but it can transmit it an excellent signal its offspring.
