Eight months after being lined out in the seedling bed, a little less than one year after germination, the original rhizome had put out 18 increases and had to be transplanted to a roomier location. The flower is nice, of course (pale silvery-blue standards and soft yellow falls blushed with burgundy) or it would have been tossed instead of introduced – but I chose a name to describe its unusually vigorous growth habits.
